From August 31st--September 2nd 2002, The North American Phonograph Company took its recording equipment to moe.down 2002, in Turin NY.   We recorded over 40 cylinders, over 80 minutes of music!  Jam music, which is a combination, of country, jazz, rock all fused into one.  moe. Particle Derek Trucks, Al and the Trans Americans, Small Appliances, Robert Randolph and his Family Band.  You can hear the scream of the crowd and musicians talking to the crowd, as well as the bands playing.  Instruments never recorded on wax cylinder before, bass guitar, Moog synthesizer, electric steel guitar, and full percussion.    Shawn Borri is the premiere expert on wax cylinder recording, in the world.  The machine used was a 1901 Edison Triumph Phonograph, the same as those used in Edison's recording studio at the turn of the century.  The recorder was an 1898 Edison early style automatic, with floating weight, the recording diaphragm 5 thousandths french glass.
